Men In CCR Ministry

Mission/Vision

MIC [‘Men in CCR”] is a ministry that helps men provide a safe space for men to share “their deep pain and struggles” with each other, without the fear of rejection or betrayal.

The journeying together in a spiritual brotherhood of “men in Christ,” will help each person grow, as “iron sharpens iron” [Prov.27:17] — to “mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” [Eph. 4:13-14].

Each brother will experience genuine brokenness in his soul and come in humility before God” [Psa.51.17].

To help men live a life of prayer and live in confidence with the infilling of the Holy Spirit daily.

What we do

MIC is not set up to interfere with members’ current ministry involvement. Nor is it meant to take men away from what they are currently doing. We aspire to enhance men’s ability to be more effective in what they are doing. Being better men in Christ—as taught by the God’s word.

We will use the 3-2-1 model of “spiritual friendship [rolled out to the church] to be a mode of ministry to one another.
We do not have weekly corporate meeting. We meet in the 3-2-1 way as we are currently doing [MIC is happy to help any man in CCR who desires to be in such a group].

We meet in our monthly ‘Huddle’, where a brother is rostered to lead in a time of devotions and prayer.

Frequency of meeting

The Alpha course is conducted over 10 weeks, with a weekend away.

It is conducted once a week, on a Friday evening (7pm-10pm) or Saturday morning (9am – 12pm).

COVID-19 Annoucement

Dear CCR,

From 28 Nov, we have re-opened the church for on-site Sunday Services.

8:30AM Service
This is our usual service capped at a maximum of 50 people. There is no requirement for Vaccination or Testing for this service and everyone including children below 12 are welcome. This service caters primarily to worshippers who cannot or are not vaccinated. So if you have a family member who is not vaccinated, your whole family can still come to worship safely together.

10:15AM Service (VTE)
The Second Service at 10:15am will be a VTE Service, meaning worshippers will need to be Vaccinated or Tested (at authorized clinics) or Exempted. We will start with having 2 zones of 90 people for our Second Service and prayerfully adjust the capacity in due course. Children below 12 are considered exempted and can attend the Second Service subject to a maximum cap of 20% of the service attendees.

MKC (Children’s ministry) will be conducted over zoom starting from (3 Oct), till further notice.

Live-streaming of the First service (8:30am) continues, but there will be no more live-streaming of the second service.

Cell Groups will continue to be given priority registration for the Second Service, and upon request, for the First Service as well. The open booking for our services continues to take place every Friday at 12 noon.

We continue to pray with expectant hearts as we know that our Lord is fully in control of all things. Let’s keep pressing on together as One for His glory.

Blessings,

Rev Victor Teo
