MIC [‘Men in CCR”] is a ministry that helps men provide a safe space for men to share “their deep pain and struggles” with each other, without the fear of rejection or betrayal.
The journeying together in a spiritual brotherhood of “men in Christ,” will help each person grow, as “iron sharpens iron” [Prov.27:17] — to “mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” [Eph. 4:13-14].
Each brother will experience genuine brokenness in his soul and come in humility before God” [Psa.51.17].
To help men live a life of prayer and live in confidence with the infilling of the Holy Spirit daily.
MIC is not set up to interfere with members’ current ministry involvement. Nor is it meant to take men away from what they are currently doing. We aspire to enhance men’s ability to be more effective in what they are doing. Being better men in Christ—as taught by the God’s word.
We will use the 3-2-1 model of “spiritual friendship [rolled out to the church] to be a mode of ministry to one another.
We do not have weekly corporate meeting. We meet in the 3-2-1 way as we are currently doing [MIC is happy to help any man in CCR who desires to be in such a group].
We meet in our monthly ‘Huddle’, where a brother is rostered to lead in a time of devotions and prayer.
The Alpha course is conducted over 10 weeks, with a weekend away.
It is conducted once a week, on a Friday evening (7pm-10pm) or Saturday morning (9am – 12pm).
